THIS IS
STEVE LENNON

Steve Lennon is an experienced Irish darts player who has established himself as one of Ireland's best players. With a tour card since 2017, he has already reached the final of the World Cup of Darts and the last 16 of the UK Open and the Grand Slam of Darts. Two titles on the Development Tour and reaching the third round of the 2022 World Championship are among his greatest successes.

Lennon first appeared on the Development Tour in 2011 and regularly attracted attention in the following years. In 2017, he made the jump to the tour card, which enabled him to achieve a series of impressive results, including reaching the semi-finals on the Development Tour and his first PDC World Championship. In the same year, he also secured a place in the Grand Slam of Darts, where he impressed with a win over Gerwyn Price. This was followed in 2018 by his first PDC final at the Dutch Darts Masters, which he narrowly lost to Michael van Gerwen.

Together with William O'Connor, Lennon reached the final of the World Cup of Darts in 2019, but was defeated by the Scottish duo. Further appearances at major tournaments such as the World Matchplay and the European Championship were impressive, even though he was eliminated several times in the early rounds. In 2020 and 2021, Lennon was unable to build on these successes, but continued to perform well on the Pro Tour and qualified for the World Championships.

In 2024, Lennon fought successfully at the UK Q-School after losing his tour card the previous year and won his tour card back. Another highlight was reaching the quarter-finals of a Players Championship event. Unfortunately, he was unable to hold his own at the UK Open 2024 and 2025 and retired early. But Lennon's return to the tour and his continued commitment show that he will continue to play an important role on the international darts stage in the future.
