Kendji Steinbach is a Dutch darts talent who made a name for himself in 2024 with numerous successes in the WDF Youth division. Nicknamed “The Scorpion”, he catapulted himself to first place in the WDF youth world rankings and won several titles in the process.

In the spring, Steinbach won the Denmark Masters (youth) and shortly afterwards came top at the Bruges Open. He even celebrated a double victory at the doubles event in Austria before making it through to the last 64 at the prestigious World Masters, where Sebastian Lofgreen was the last man standing with a 4:1 win. He then reached the semi-finals at the World Open, securing further ranking points.

Steinbach also secured his ticket to the WDF World Championships via a qualifier - although he would have qualified anyway thanks to his ranking. In October, he followed this up with another tournament win in Hungary and went into the WDF World Youth Championship as one of the favorites. However, he failed in his match against Archie Self.

With his strong performance in 2024, Kendji Steinbach is already regarded as one of the greatest young Dutch talents in steel darts.
