THIS IS
JERRY HENDRIKS

Jerry Hendriks is a Dutch darts player who celebrated great success as a teenager and established himself in the PDC professional game from 2012. His biggest triumph was winning the WDF Youth World Championship in 2003 at the age of 15, followed by commanding performances in European and World Cups.

After successes in the youth sector - including team and individual gold medals at the WDF Europe Cup - Hendriks took the step to the PDC in 2012. He qualified for the European Championship in the same year and impressed with a 6:2 first round win over Mensur Suljovic before losing to Phil “The Power” Taylor in a thrilling 7:10 duel in the round of 16. His debut at the PDC World Championship 2013 ended after a smooth 3:0 against Wayne Jones in round 2 against Phil Taylor (1:4).

After losing his tour card in 2015, Hendriks fought as an Associate Member and on the Challenge Tour until he surprisingly qualified again for the 2017 World Championship via the Central European Qualifier. There he defeated Warren Parry (2:0), but failed against Peter Wright (0:3). In the following years, he made further appearances on the European Tour, but remained on the cusp of top form.

Despite a quarter-final appearance on the 2019 Challenge Tour and final stage appearances at Q-School, he was unable to regain his tour card. Until 2021, “Electric” continued to try his hand at all PDC events open to him and remains a tenacious fighter on the floor.
