BULL'S Challenger Danny Jansen 26g
Danny Jansen is a Dutch darts player who made a name for himself with great successes as a youth player before earning his PDC Tour card in 2022. He promptly won his first title on the Pro Tour, followed shortly afterwards by strong performances on the European Tour - and celebrated his World Championship debut in 2023.
As a 16-year-old, Jansen reached the quarter-finals of the WDF German Masters in 2019. He had previously won the youth tournament at the Czech Open 2018 and the French Open. His first attempts on the Development and Challenge Tour were still instructive, but in 2022 he secured his tour card via the Q-School ranking list with a semi-final and quarter-final in the final stage. Nicknamed “The Mullet”, he is synonymous with eccentric celebrations and passionate performances.
He made his debut on the Pro Tour at the UK Open 2022, where Ricky Evans was the last man standing. The coup followed in April: Jansen won his first Players Championship title in Barnsley with an 8-5 victory over Andrew Gilding. On the European Tour, he impressed in Graz with victories over Radek Szaganski (6:1) and Luke Humphries (6:2) before Ricky Evans gave him a whitewash. Further round of 16s in Stuttgart and Zwolle rounded off his debut year.
In 2023, he reached the second round in his first World Championship appearance (3:2 against Paolo Nebrida), but then had to congratulate Krzysztof Ratajski on his victory. Despite reaching the round of 16 at the UK Open (2:3 against Jeffrey de Zwaan) and further appearances on the European Tour, it was not enough to keep his tour card. He celebrated a tournament win on the 2024 Challenge Tour and reached the final and semi-finals, but was denied a return to the professional ranks at the 2025 Q-School. At the UK Open 2025, he lost in round 1 to Dominik Grüllich.
This is Danny Jansen.
Eccentric. Passionate. A real fighter.
